Installation & Setup
Perfect Pool is built for families who want a premium above-ground pool without the usual contractor-heavy path of traditional pool ownership. With the right site preparation and a clear setup plan, you can create a backyard pool experience without excavation, steel-wall assembly, or a long construction timeline.
Step 1: Choose a level location
Your setup area should be flat, stable, and clear of sharp objects, roots, rocks, and debris. The pool must sit on a suitable surface that can support the full weight of the filled pool. Take time on this step. A level foundation helps protect the pool and improves the swimming experience.
Step 2: Plan access around the pool
Leave room around the pool for walking, maintenance, ladder access, pump placement, and cover handling. Think about where swimmers will enter and exit, where towels and cleaning tools will go, and how the pool will look from the house or patio.
Step 3: Unpack and position the pool
Once the area is prepared, unpack the pool and position it carefully in the center of the setup space. Check the orientation before inflation so hoses, ladder access, and equipment placement make sense for the yard.
Step 4: Inflate to the recommended pressure
Perfect Pool uses drop-stitch construction to create a strong, rigid wall structure when properly inflated. Follow the included setup guidance and use the recommended pump and pressure range. Proper inflation is important for performance, comfort, and wall stability.
Step 5: Connect filtration
Set up the filtration system according to the instructions included with your package. Make sure hoses are properly connected, the filter media is installed correctly, and the equipment is positioned where it can operate safely and conveniently.
Step 6: Fill and monitor the pool
Begin filling the pool and monitor the shape, level, and connections as the water rises. This is the right time to double-check that everything remains centered, secure, and level.
Step 7: Start water care
Once filled, begin your normal water-care routine. Test the water, balance chemistry, run filtration, and keep the pool covered when appropriate. A simple routine helps keep water clear and extends the life of the pool.
